Multi Purpose Interface

The MPI unit is designed to accept up to 8 analogue or digital
(volt free contact closure) inputs. Each input function is programmable.
There are two types of analogue input: potentiometer and light sensor;
and three types of digital input: contact closure; passive infra-red
(PIR) control and fire alarm activation.
ANALOGUE
Potentiometer Input : accepts 0 - 10V input to control the level
of a single light or group of lights (which can be combined with
a digital input closed to stop spurious operation). Light Sensor
: accepts 0 - 10V signal to select one of 8 scenes depending on
lux level. Both the level at which each scene is activated and the
scene number are programmable.
DIGITAL
Contact Closure : upon contact closure, a programmable scene is
activated.
PIR: upon contact closure, a programmable scene is activated. Upon
contact
opening, a programmable scene is selected after a programmable delay
(0 - 63.5 minutes). Fire Alarm : upon contact closure, a programmable
scene is activated and continues to be activated at a programmable
rate of 0 - 127 seconds.
