MCD/AT/10-16

Polaron's latest addition to its family of IGBT dimming racks is the flexible, custom built, plug-in modular MCD/AT/10-16 range. This design allows a mixture of input and output protection / distribution as well as essential auto-changeover circuitry to be integrated within the rack eliminating the need for external distribution boards. IGBT power handing devices provide the optimum dimming characteristic regardless of lamp / load type connected (see 'dimmable load types'), and eliminate the need for noisy RFI inductors (chokes). A range of rack sizes accepting from 8 to 64 x 10 or 16 Amp dimmers, provides one of the largest single rack systems available. These racks are natural convection cooled, requiring no fans or forced cooling. The MCD/U range is loaded with exciting modern features as listed below.
