Description of Project

To design, manufacture & install an integrated Audio Visual and Lighting Control System for all public areas and private function rooms, covering over 870m2 of this prestigious 5-star hotel which overlooks London’s exclusive Chelsea Harbour.

 

 

Technical Details

The AV system features remote volume adjustment, remote source selection and paging. It is a flexible system which allows connectivity to the background music, public address system and data wiring via remote facility panels. The AV system was designed to allow differing source material to be broadcast in separate areas of the hotel, including selective paging. A central PC allows global control of the lighting system and a touchscreen panel installed in the reception area allows integration of the systems for complete control of lighting and sound from one location. Control plates incorporate an infra-red receiver to allow local control of the system remotely or manually.

Design Features

Flexible system which allows connectivity via remote facility panels located throughout the hotel. Specialist lighting effects in the bar, restaurant and private dining areas were created using fibre optics, including colour change with Polaron’s unique Flexilight system. Control plates were finished in polished chrome, one of Polaron’s customised finishes, to blend subtly with the exclusive decor of the hotel.
