Intellect is a software driven system and consequently, may be configured for a wide variety of applications. Upgrades and system expansion can therefore be readily accomplished without the need for major redesign. Interfacing with any fire-alarm system is similarly straight forward. In addition to its primary function, Intellect can provide full, public address functionality, thus comprising a very cost-effective, dual-purpose system. Alternatively, where a P.A. system previously exists or is separately specified, integration can be accomplished via a dedicated P.A port.
