The design and installation of induction
loops is a very specialised
field and is often outside the working knowledge of many specifiers
and installers. This is especially true where specialised requirements
have to be met, such as theatres with balconies, irregular shaped
rooms, large spaces such as sports halls & cathedrals. Additional
problems can occur due to large amounts of steel incorporated in
modern structures causing field loss and distortion.
Polaron has developed a sizable fund of
know-how on the design and installation of induction loop systems.
To assist with the design of the loop layouts, Polaron uses a number
of very advanced computer programs to produce full analysis of the
entire spatial magnetic field generated.
Full provision is made for designing phrased
arrays, multiple loops with different currents etc. Depending on
the requirements, our support can range from on call advice to extensive
design work, using architects drawings and site surveys and trials,
demonstrations, commissioning and quotations.
